I can't recommend Luke Hirko enough. he was in the women's footwear department and absolutely went above and beyond for me and my wife. She's recovering from a foot injury and needed shoes that could help. Luke went above and beyond by recommending multiple different shoes, listening to us, and suggesting shoes. Ultimately, one of the shoes that he suggested was the winner. Luke made our day. Thank you so much, Luke!

I'm a HUGE fan of Scheels! Their selection is spot on, terrific range of styles and sizes. On a sidenote, we walked in at 8:50 PM knowing the store was closing at 9 PM. We were greeted as normal. I apologize for coming in so late and was told not to worry about it that they were happy we were there. We ended up spending $200 and 10 minutes and felt like we didn't want to leave!!!!

Jennifer was the most patient and helpful employee I've ever met. She helped me and my mom find the perfect shoes. We sifted through 4 different brands of shoes. It took like an hour and she was so into helping us and was so enthusiastic. Loved her! She makes me want to be a better person!

I always go to Scheels whenever I go to Iowa City. I always find something I need. From Hunting, fishing, camping, or setting up my own target range. Usually find great prices on ammunition. I will be stopping by after my VA appointment. With 4th of July a week away. Tannerite Targets are very fun while you wait for darkness to fall!

🎙️ [Slow country guitar fades in somewhere between Iowa cornfields and a truck stop coffee refill…] “Well now… I figured SCHEELS in Iowa would be nice and all… but I sure wasn’t prepared for this kinda spectacle 🤠🌽. Pulled off the highway after hours behind the wheel 🚛, expecting maybe a decent sporting goods store. But the second those doors opened — buddy… it felt like I walked straight into a Midwestern amusement park built for hunters, fishermen, truckers, and overgrown kids alike 😄. You got wildlife displays starin’ at ya from every direction 🦌🐻, rows of boots shinier than a Texas rodeo 👢, and enough outdoor gear to survive three apocalypses back-to-back 🔥. I’m tellin’ ya, places like this are why road trips across America never get old. The whole atmosphere had that classic American feeling 🇺🇸: families walkin’ around smilin’, kids wide-eyed lookin’ at the animals, the smell of fresh leather and popcorn floatin’ through the air… felt less like shopping and more like an adventure stop somewhere deep in the heartland 🌽✨.
